COMMERCIAL FITNESS & GYM EQUIPMENT
Buying commercial fitness equipment can be a mine field to navigate. Everyone claims their gear is the best, cheapest, most solid, reliable and every other bit of marketing and sales pitch imaginable. So how do you tell if it is quality gym equipment or not and whether or not you are actually getting a good deal? Unfortunately the only way is to spend some time and do your homework. This will probably be the largest investment you will make in the future of your business. Get it right and you will reap the rewards, get it wrong and it could potentially cause you enormous headaches, financial ruin and potentially legal ramifications if one of your clients is hurt while using your equipment and it is deemed to have not been true commercial grade fitness equipment.
Our gym equipment is without doubt the best value premium quality fitness equipment on the market. We don’t sell low grade fakes and we can guarantee you that all of our equipment is engineered for commercial use. None of it is domestic grade! Most other sellers will sell domestic grade gear and claim it is commercial when it isn’t. The product that is most widely abused in this fashion is the treadmill. Many companies sell domestic grade treadmills and call them commercial. Now you don’t need to spend ridiculous amounts of money to get a proper commercial treadmill but if the price is way below the going rate then there is no way known that it is commercial grade. We will explain this in more detail in our Commercial Treadmill section of the website, but just a quick note on this as a heads up. If the treadmill has a folding running deck, it’s a home use treadmill. If it requires that you lubricate it with silicon spray or silicon oil it is also not a commercial treadmill as all genuine commercial grade treadmills have an inbuilt self-lubricating system that lubricates the running mat as required and some used a waxed deck system but this is usually found on genuine, high quality light commercial treadmills. If it has a DC (Direct Current) motor it’s also a domestic treadmill as all commercial and light commercial treadmills use an AC (Alternating Current) motor. So the key is to get commercial fitness equipment that will actually do the job required depending on the type of facility you are running. You will require either light commercial gym equipment that is suitable for most personal training studios, schools, physio clinics and small hotels. Full commercial gear can be used in any commercial gym application.
Buy, Lease, Finance, Rent? This depends on your financial position. Generally you are better off to keep your cash to invest in promotion and marketing to get people through the doors and pay the equipment off in instalments. We have been supplying commercial gym equipment to the industry for over 15 years so we understand what required in this area of the industry. We can also arrange delivery, installation and a regular maintenance program anywhere in Australia.
